 Mrs. Lee’s Class Celebrates Reading Over 1,700 Books!!!!!Through the Ready 2 Read Better Basics reading program, Mrs. Lee’s second graders excelled. Our volunteers were Mr. Justin Weintraub of Colonial Properties and Ms. Maddie Humpries of Graham & Co. These awesome volunteers encouraged these Minor Second Graders to read over 1,700 books as a class total. Their committment to visiting twice a month really paid off. A class awards ceremony was held on April 3, sponsored by the volunteers sharing a giant chocolate chip cookie, ice cream and juice. Eleven students read over 100 books each.
