Who do you say Jesus is?
The question, who do you say God Almighty is, has been asked from the beginning of man’s existence, and it has been answered either by words or actions.  Adam answered the question by action.  God gave Adam a command, which was, Adam you may eat of every tree in the garden except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. (Genesis 2:16-17)
One day, Adam decided to take his wife’s advice as opposed to what God had clearly told him, and that was do not eat of the tree of knowledge, but his wife said eat, and he ate (Genesis 3:6).  God told Adam “The day you eat of the tree you shall surely die.” Adam’s enemy convinced Eve she would not die, therefore, Eve convinced Adam likewise.   Now, what did you see in Adam’s action?  Adam did not say, but his action spoke louder than words, because he did just what God said not to do, and God told him what the consequences of disobedience would entail.  God knew Adam would eat when he gave him the command.  How are you responding to God’s command? Is He your God?
God said in Genesis 1:26, let us make man.  What “us” do you suppose He is talking about, the Trinity, of course.  God is the Creator, Jesus is the maker of man, and the Holy Spirit gave Adam mobility (Genesis 2:7).  Who do you say Jesus is?  Whom you obey (Romans 6:16).
Just as Adam’s action spoke, your action speaks now.  Who do you say Jesus is?  Who you obey tells others who you believe in, and you do not have to say not a word.  We read in Matthew 7:16, that says you shall know them by their fruit.  What fruit, you ask? The works you do for the Lord, according to the Word of God.  We read in Matthew 5:44, that says bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, pray for them which despitefully use you.  These actions are your fruit.  We read in Matthew 15:18-19, that says what comes out of a man defiles him.  Whatever is in your heart/spirit protrudes in your actions.  Do your actions speak who you say Jesus is?
